Messages

Internal stations can send one another predefined, brief messages.

Sending a Message


Step by Step
 

Click the message button in the toolbar.

The following dialog box is displayed:


Enter the number of the internal station to which you want to send a
message and click OK to confirm your entry.

The call display is replaced by the box "Send message", softkeys and operating keys are masked in:

Using the , and buttons, you can display a menu and select from among ten predefined, brief messages:

0 = Please callback
1 = Someone is waiting
2 = Appointment
3 = Urgent call
4 = Do not disturb
5 = Fax waiting
6 = Dictation please
7 = Please come see me
8 = Please make copies
9 = Redy to depart

The brief messages listed here may differ from the messages actually stored in your system.

As soon as you confirm the option"Send" in the menu, the message is sent.

Click the Back button to stop scrolling in the box "Send message" and return to the call display.



Receiving a Message

If messages are waiting for you, the view messages icon will appear in the system bar.

Call the pop-up menu.


Click the View messages menu option with the left mouse button.

The call display is replaced by the box for viewing messages, softkeys and operating keys are masked in:

Using the , and buttons, you can view and delete the messages received from a menu.

Click the Back button in the box for displaying messages to return to the call display.
