Emergency Operation
When you exit the optiClient Attendant or in the event of an application failure, the optiClient Attendant changes over to emergency operation. All the features of your telephone system are retained and you can continue to execute all switching functions from your optiset E advance plus/comfort or memory system telephone or optiPoint 500 basic/standard/advance, provided that it is connected to your PC via the control/data adapter or via USB.
If your PC is connected to the communications platform via the UP0/E PCI card, you cannot perform any switching functions during emergency operation. To continue to operate the system with limited switching functions, the system administrator must have configured it accordingly (such as setting up an emergency telephone in the intercept group).
To return to your PC attendant console, restart the optiClient Attendant program
