Menu Window

The Menu Window emulates the telephone display and keys (2 lines for optiset E standard/comfort/conference and optiPoint 500 basic/standard/advance/8 lines with optiset E memory). 

Calling the Menu Window

The menu window dialog box automatically appears when you initiate a procedure such as sending messages. 

You can also call the menu window manually to execute functions or procedures that cannot be initiated via toolbar buttons or pop-up menus (for a description of these functions and procedures and how to execute them, refer to the user manual for your communication platform).

Click the "Menu Window" toolbar button.
The menu window is displayed.

To avoid incorrect menu text display (some characters missing), data compression should not be activated in the communication platform (to deactivate, ask your service technician).

The keys have the following meanings:

Confirm a function. 


Scroll between functions. 


Confirm changes
(corresponds to the "DIAL" key on the optiset E memory). 


Scroll between lines. 


Delete input one letter at a time from right to left. 


Call up window to input alphanumeric characters. 


Close the menu window.
